new b Unregistered guest | How do i need to wire a 2ohm sub to get a 2ohm load to my amp, and if i have 2 2ohm subs how whould i wire that. this is on a mono amp, and i am still very new to this. |
boister77 Unregistered guest | depens on your sub. if you sub is has a single voice coil, then it can only be wired as 2ohms. if it has dual voice coils, then you can wire it as 1ohm or 2ohm. just remember that if you wire in parallel, you double the ohm rating. if you wire in series, you half the ohm rating. |

new b Unregistered guest | so if i have a 2ohm stable amp and a 2ohm dvc sub then i'm not going to get my 2 ohm load. So what i need is a 4ohm dvc sub correct. |
