because both channels can be wired into 1 ohm and put out like 700-800 rms per channel. just easier i guess. and if not i can bridge into 1 channel and have like 1400 rms @ 2 ohms.

why is this bad?

k, dan ur amp is not 1ohm stable *bridged* so u would only be sending each sub 250rms....

and if u bridge it...its still only 500rms..thats all.....

whats ur budget for an amp....

and bassman

i know its 1 ohm stable per channel and bridged its 2 ohms. and has an average rms output of over 1000. and each channel will be putting out 525ish but im buying a bigger amp soon like 700-800 rms per channel. my budget is about 400, if you could find me a nic amp that would be great!

^^^IF that is ur amp then it is not putting out 500 per channel...its not a 1000watt amp its a 500watt amp so around 250 per channel

i no rf is kinda underrated but no way they are selling 1000watt amps and stamping 500watts on them..thats stupid

also remember a company will do anything for a sale..until i see a test sheet i will not believe that..

how many and how big are ur fuses on that amp

no its rms... it says rms right next to the 1057. i dont know why they rated it at 500 but look at the t3002 it says like 300 rms but puts out over 800. the gain on my amp is wierd. it doesnt really do anything until like 2/3 of the way up then it getts really touchy and i had my sub bottom out when i was barely turning it.

^^ ur prolly right. b/c no comapany will underrate their amps that much. anyways, your amp would never put out that much power anuways

if u notice they only overrate like that on their power series amps maybe its because they want to make a good impression.
