some people say it is a myth, other people swear by it. Just take it easy on the sub for the first couple hours of music listening, then you can Fu*kin Giv'er Buddy!
it doesnt matter if its a good quality sub then it will be able to take it its just to loosen up the suspension that all i just say take it easy for bout a min or so then turn up slowly so its not a drstic change all of a sudden
I've been told that on a 9900 series DD that if you really wanna break them in just hook them up to a walll outlet for a little bit. Agian I was told this by an idiot at school but he has a 9900 and ive seen what it does, so i kinda belive him. of course thats not the way to break in most woofers.
But if we consider that the volume should be keep at low, how can I set the gain? I think and read while in gain settngs the volume has to be turn on at the level where increasing one more point will cause distortion and then do it with gain too. Please clarify
you set the gain the same as your hu ltage so if you know that you can set your gain correctly in the first place and not worry about it but just dont be stupid and turn the gain up all the way if you dont know you can always readjust
