And zx750.1

And we wired them @ this amplifier But the sound is Crapy . he had kenwood sub's and the sound is alot better .

what is the wrong with this setup .

he used a bad RCA and wires . Maybe that's the problem .

maybe the Ground (earth) wire .

maybe the battary . its standerd 50A .

what's the possible problems .

He said my kenwood is better than your crapy kicker .. What should i Do .Upload

NO...

if you wire the subs like in the pic above, you will infact give the amp a 2ohm nominal load.

but w/ kicker subs you have to make sure you wire BOTH VOICE COILS.

make sure that on both subs the + terminal w/ the black dot is wired to the amp...and the - terminal w/ NO dot is wire to the amp aswell...then make a jumper wire from the - dotted terminal to the + no-dot terminal on each sub. (like in the pic)

this will give your amp a 2ohm load.

i make him sell his kenwood ..

i wired them as the pic , But very Crapy sound , As Sony Xpload , maybe worse .

hold on...

you are running those CVR's free air??? (no box)
if so, that is your problem!!!

Also, are you saying that you have DVC 4ohm subs? if so, you will not be able to give the amp a 2ohm load. (and if you wire the subs like the pic you posted above, the amp is seeing 4ohms)

Devin...i am right, trust me...i have messed w/ CVR's way too many times :-)

CRV's are not built to run IB (infinite baffle)

build or buy a box for the subs.
1 to 1.25cuft per sub will be good.

night mirage and marshall, you are both wrong. you cant wire exactly like the picture on the first post. you have to get the manual and wire them like that. im the one who told devin how to wire them like the manual, because I had the same problem with my 2 DVC Cvrs.

this is how to do it.

red with white dot, connected to solid black
solid red, and black with white dot, go to the amp.

lol, and if you dont know for some reason, make sure the black goes to the negative, and red to the positive on the amp.

Steven Norris,

this is what i posted above...it is the exact same thing you are saying, i just said 'black-dot' instead of 'white dot' and i reversed kinda reversed the wiring. But w/ two DVC 2ohm subs, you would still get a 2ohm load to the amp wiring it this way.
