I haven't listened to the coaxial set, but the comp set doesn't sound too bad. I'd say they're similar to an Alpine Type S or maybe a Polk DB series, at least in terms of sound. I've never been a kicker fan myself, but they didn't sound too bad to me as long as they were getting enough power. I'd probably still go with Polk for the money and especially if you weren't going to amp them. |
