what is the best to use for putting the pieces together on a box? i dont know if i should wood glue or what? im goign to use screws too, but what else should i use?

cauling liquid nails and dry wall screws are all of what i used...

did u use the liquid nails between the pieces, and then went around the inside with the caulk? lol, or did you do it the other way around?

between the pieces, then screwed then put caulkin so it looked good... u used clear for caulking because of my mirrors... most people use white though

yep - use drywall screws

i use liquid nails on the joints & ALSO 4 seling the joints - cant be that strength ...

well with accurate cuts my boxes hardly need it but
yep - it does a wonderful job & makes it perfectly airtight as added reassurance ....

I use wood glue before i put the pieces together. I think its loctite or something, but i had to use a sledge hammer to break a piece off one time. Thats how good it stays together.

you know the profesional boxes you can buy dont use anything other than wood glue..... but the way we design them we should only use wood glue and then some few screws to hold the wood in place for the glue to set....the glue it self is way strong enough. it also depends on how you get your wood cut, if its nice and accurate and true, ur fine, but if you use a jig saw or a hand saw, you will never get that smooth finish edge therefore will not be airtight, thats why some of you use silicone on the inside to make it air tight....

yup! i can't use a saw worth crap! but my box looks HELLA SICK!!! i'll post pics AS SOON AS THE OPTION COMES BACK ON!!!
