Rounded Subwoofer Enclosures

So the past week or so I've been working on my custom subwoofer enclosures. They are finally complete, now all i need is an amp. Heres one picture and theres more on this link iwht some more info about my box. http://www.geocities.com/w_s_productions/MySubBox.html If you have any ideas on a good amp let me know. I tested them on my friends system before i painted tem running at 4 ohms on his sony XM-SD51X running 250 watts. They were nice and clear but nothing earth shattering. Thanks -Brian

um.... ok... is that 250 RMS or is that 250 RMS?

His amp was putting out 250rms but im looking for an amp with 400rms because thats what my subs are 400rms/ 800 max.

its rated at 800RMSx1 so 400RMSx2 but idk its stability

did u cut many slices of mdf till u got the length of that box - if yes that must be a TON of work

since ur subs r dual 4ohms >>>

I think your asking if i cut the front view and glued them together. I actually made the front and back peice and the lower half which is rectangular then i cut and peiced togehter close to angular peices to make the half curve. All caulked then putty to fill in the gaps. I then sanded it smooth primed, sanded, primed, sanded primed and finally painted. Thanks for the info on the amplifier. Seems like that might be a better match than the Audiobahn 8000t.

whoa - thats alot of work

well i actually own that amp so thats y i rec it quite often - it used 2 be 300 which is how much i paid 4 mine late last yr ......

why u dont buy ascendant audio assasins and a audiobahn 800t u will not spend more than 300 dollars and u will have a great system that no legacy. sony and piooner can match
