12" or 15"? Is there such a significant difference in the two that I should pay the extra 100$ that it would cost to get the 15"?

Would you say the Type-R would do what I want? I mean if it's not gonna give me sql then I don't really want it.

Ok. That's fine. Another question then. Is it worth the 100$ that I would spend on a 15 over a 12? I know it's 250 more wrms but is that going to have a huge effect?

Ok. I think I might go with the 12" then because if i want more then i can just get another one. If I got a 15 and wanted another, that would just be overload. What kind of box would you say to go with for the type r? Also, 2 ohm or 4 ohm?

type R is a good SQL sub & hardly u will find a sub that comes close 2 it in its rice range . Its just that its a very popular sub so some ppl here get tired of reading about it .

PORT ur R anywhere from 32-35hz & tell me if it doesnt give u that SQL ur after

with only 200wrms going 2 each of my Rs in a pvc ported box i'm shaking the roof of my garage & sounding very clear & distortion free as well too - imagine when i hook up back my bigger amp & give it a full 600wrms each ...

Rovin or someone. Could you possibly design that box for me? 32-35 hz for one Alpine Type-R 12". It would be much, much appreciated.
