Thursday, June 08, 2006 - 21:15 GMT Yeah. Im using 4 guage wire and i had a 150 amp fuse in the holder and I wondered for about 20 seconds why the amp wasnt turning on. haha. I wasnt sure because i had a 8 guage wire kit for an 800 watt amp that used a different size fuse and i didnt want to buy a new fuse holder. THANKS!!

Most music won't even require 50A rms. Even if you happen to play something that requires maximum current (test tones at full volume) your fuse is about the right size to keep any problems from developing.
