Hi i need to know if i could run two 8 guage wires through a distrib. block(4 guage to two 8 guages) and if it would be enough to power an 800wrms @ 2 ohms (90amp) amplifier and a 150wrms X4 @ 2 ohms (50 amp)amplifier? Also do you think i need a capacitor????
Thanks

what you should really do it get a 0guage in and 2 4 guage out.

put your 4g power into the 0 spot then you can still have 2 4g outs to you amps

alot better then using 8 guage

No matter what gauge you use to run your amps
if your alternator gauge is no more than 8 gauge it is pointless to put a 4 gauge because your 4 gauge will still only be a 8 gauge because your alternator wire gauge is the start point of your power source so no matter what gauge you put even a 1/0 gauge it will never be more than a 8 gauge from your alternator!!!
