Right now I currently have 2 12" DVC 4 ohm subs hooked up to my Kicker KX 800.2. These are the only specs I could find on it.

Kicker KX 800.2
200 watts RMS x 2 at 4 ohms
400 watts x 2 at 2 ohms
800 watts x 1 in bridged mode

Right now I'm running the two subs in bridged mode. I'm looking to upgrade my subs and wanted to get the Diamond Audio TDX D9 15"

However, I don't know what ohm version I need. DVC 4 or DVC 2?

I know I can get the DVC 2 ohm version wired to a 4 ohm load, but it won't be bridged like the specs on the amp say.

I believe the Kicker 800.2 does 800 watts x 1 @ 4 ohm. But, I don't know if it matters when it says "bridged mode" after it.

What do I need to do to get 800 watts out of that amp to 1 sub?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING
FIND OUT MORE INFO ON THAT AMP
YOU NEED TO KNOW IF IT WILL DO
4, 2, OR 1 OHM MONO TO PUT OUT
ALL ITS 800 WATTS THEN YOU WILL
KNOW WHAT SUB TO BUY

I know, that's what I'm asking and Rick Ross did a nice job of answering it. 800 watts X 1 @4 ohm.

With the positive speaker wire going to the positive on the left channel. And the negative speaker wire going to the negative on the right channel. Correct?

same power if you run it 2ohm load stereo, also you can not get 2 dual 2 ohm to a 4ohm load. if running bridged, use the dual 4 running series/paralal wiring. i personally would just run it stereo mode
