Anyone heard these? They are supposed to be new on the market and i was wondering of they are any good. Price compares to Alpine and Polk at 179 for the 4 way 6x9 and 139 for the 3 way, Thanks
i'd pick the alpines or the polks over JVC any day.
3+ way speakers are really a waste. you don't get anything special over a 2 way other then some crappy "super tweeter" or "midrange". really just a marketing thing. also, 6x9's don't sound as good as a 5.25 or 6.5 inch round speaker. unless you are looking for the extra bass they will provide due to the extra cone area.
i'd get an adaptor plate or a simple piece of wood and fit a 5.25 or 6.5 inch speaker in the 6x9 hole.
