you either have the gains set too high, too low of a load, or something is shorted out. thoes would be the most common reason for overcurrent protection.

It has worked just fine for the past year... powering two HX2s.... The amp fuses blew.... but i replaced those and im still getting the same problem... i took out my cap... and it wont even let me mess with the gains right now becase all it displays is CUR(escessive current)

IT SEEMS LIKE YOU BLEW UP YOUR AMP
BUT YOU NEED TO START A DIAGNOSIS TO
SEE WHAT IT IS THAT IS MAKING IT OVERCURRENT!

DISCONNECT ALL THE RCA'S AND ALL THE SPEAKER WIRES.
THEN JUST WITH THE POWER WIRES ALONE
IF THE AMP STILL HAS THE OVERCURRENT LIGHT ON
THE AMP HAS GONE INTO PERMANENT PROTECTION
AND HAS TO BE REPAIRED.
DO THAT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS
