Boss is fleamarket brand and quality, not to sound high and mighty, but they're quality is not that good. I would look into a better set of speakers and possibly a good set of two way 6x9s. getting 4 and 5 way coax are a marketing gimic that trys to cover up lack of quality for the speakers. Some of the better coax like Boston and Pioneer Rev series are only two way.
Pioneer arnt the greatest, I bought a set of the new 5 ways, and the stink. I replaced them with polk DB 6x9. The pioneer sounded to tinny, or hollow for my liking. Plus the overheat to easy. Coil starts to smoke @ 70wrms. The were rated for 80.
