I am looking for an amp to push TWO JL Audio 12W6's. They are Dual 6 ohms. I was going to wire them in parallel so it comes out at 1.5 ohms. Does anyone one know of a good amp that would push these? I don't want to spend alot of money.

Would that be enough power? Continuous Power Handling is 300W per sub. Shouldn't I be looking for an amp that pushes 1000x1 @ 1 ohm

contrary to popular belief the voice coils spilt the rms not doubleing it, that is a good amp and i think some other posters would agree
300x2= 600

Yea, but can't the subs handle up to 500 or 600 watts a piece? Or should I just get the 600 watt amp and run it at full power?

Thanks for your help in advance
