I think his is 35-36, somewhere around there. Correct me if I'm wrong Rovin.

I have a type R tuned to 38 and it get's thumpin pretty good :-)

James ur not really wrong cause i have experimented with tuning my Rs @ freqs from 31-36hz & i change it kinda often

well i have 2 sets of 3" pvc ported boxes from previous subs so im reusing those
1 set is 1.65cut
2nd set is 1.88cuft

if u want SQ then 31hz is sweeeet & very accurate but u lose SPL

36 is loud but SQ will drop

my fav combo so far with a nice balance of SQ/SPL is 1.65cuft 33hz - of course my ride is a hatchback so it will song differently in different cars ...

my is 38 and I DEFF loose SQ. Not very musical but nice for those low notes

u see thats what i like about pipe port - u ca neasily change it out anytime u want & the box takes up less space/weight than slot ported ......

I liked it too but my prob was that id alwayz get port noise.

strange how ppl always say they get pipe port noise but honestly i never got any from mine cause i sand paper the edges smooth on my ports & its sounds good .......
