Ok i am going to buy 2 new subs and was wondering if 2 alpine dvc type r's or 2 kicker dvc cvr12's hit harder or which is a better sub for under arount $100 each? thanks

oh yeah i have a 94 grand cherokee, is ther anything i would need to get for the electrical system like another battery or alternator or something?
i also have a alpine m350 amp 350 rms 700 max? will that be good eough for the subs or would i need to upgrade?

you'll need to upgrade your amp. the alpines will need 500w a piece and the CVR's will need 400w a piece. personally i would take the type r's but then i've never heard a those kickers

I own 2 12" R's and have 2 friends with 12" cvr's my R's have better SQ and put those cvr's to shame.

Also:
12" R's are 500rms 1500maxx
12" CVR' are 400rms 800maxx
And
15" R's are 1000rms 2000maxx
15" CVR's are 500rms 1000maxx

so baisicly a 12" R is a dumbed down 15"

the cvr's are louder than the type Rs. i'd say the sq is about the same.

you should invest on a ho alt. 1000wrms will still run on your stock alt but you will be putting alot of strain on it therefore shortening the lifespan of your alt.

nate will give you a good price with the group buy. also to install them shouldn't cost that much. i found a few mechanics that was going to do it for $40. also to upgrade the big 3 is easy. when you are ready to do all that stuff then just start a thread in the accessories section and their will be people helping you out.
