OT, other thread wont work. wiring to 2 ohm and 1 ohm..

thats how i have my 2 dvc 2 ohm speakers wired right now. do u think i can wire it to 1 ohm? i dont think i can wire it in a series because my box is chambered.

You can NOT wire 2 DVC 2 ohm to 1ohm, it's impossible.

that is a 2 channel, on 1 sub run + to + and - to -, then to the terminal cup inside the box, run that amp 1ohm stereo stable.(per channel)

Is that amp brideable? if it is bridgeable to 2 ohms I would suggest bridgeing it it will sound a bit better.

yeah its bridgable. but its only 2 channels. how can i bridge it?

If it is bridgeable it should say right on the amp and look something like
(+)___bridge___(-)
Where you plug in the speaker wires
Or if it does not say then on your speaker outs you will see the Left(+)(-) Right(-)(+) you will want to wire the (+) from the left and the (-) from the right.

Left(-)(+)____Right(-)(+)
........./.................\
Positive to sub___Negative to sub

be sure it is 2 ohm stable bridged
