Silver Member Username: JohnnylemoineLaPlace, Louisiana United States Post Number: 727 Registered: Aug-04 | u can get an orion 2500D on ebay for like 400. which is a great deal considering they retail for 1500. but i dont know if that is a refurbed amp or wut. my friend bought a brand new 2500D for 630 off of ebay. a 2500D would be perfect for a new XXX. my freind with the 2500D is goin to buy the 18 XXX when it is available.  12 cuft box tuned real low, with bookoo port area. should be about 9 or 10 cuft after all displacements. |

Silver Member Username: JohnnylemoineLaPlace, Louisiana United States Post Number: 733 Registered: Aug-04 | yeah one orion 2500D per sub or any amp that actually puts out 2000-2500 rms at 1 or 4 ohms. i have an RE 36.1 which does 1800 @ 1ohm. hopefully with my new alt i can get closer to 2000 out of it to push the new XXX. but in your case, if u can get an orion 2500D, do it. that amp would deff do that sub good. |

Silver Member Username: JohnnylemoineLaPlace, Louisiana United States Post Number: 748 Registered: Aug-04 | the WCC 5000D is an orion 2500D its the same exactl amp they put a stupid west coast costums sticker on it, which comes off pretty easily. the orion 1200D i had was a WCC amp, they called it a 2400D, but its a 1200D. trust me its the same amp. and thats the deal i was talkin bout for 450 shipped. get it if u can, someone on here has already confirmed that the amps are brand new and work. it will only power 1 12 XXX unless u want to run it at .5 ohms and i dont know wut it would even put out at .5 ohms. oh bye the way check out my thread about turning my XXX 12 into an 18 XXX. |
