buy a switch from your local parts store, open it and make sure you have some wire, run a hotwire to the positive lead on teh switch, run the amp remote to the lead that says acc and run the ground from teh ground lead, its not taht hard.

like kevin said, you can just run the wire to where the remote wire would go. it would be doing the same thing, only the amp would turn on when you flick the switch on, instead of when you turn the head unit on.
