how do i know if my sub i clipping because i have never heard a sub clip before and if i did i didn't know it. is there any kind of test i can do or somthing like that

turn your gain up, when you here distortion its prolly clipping.
turn it down to where you have no distortion.

ahhhhh what is distortion, i mean i now your not suposed to have any but what is it and what does it sound like.
By the way i have a kicker 300.1 and a kicker 12inch compvr
to see if you have any, turn your system to full about 75%, open ur trunk and walk about 75 feet away - if it sounds pretty nasty, its probly distorted
