I have a 25W X 25W amp and I only want to hook up 2 50W speakers. Generally speaking, can I hook up the left front and left rear speaker outputs together to gain more power output? I only have 12.5W per speaker. I'd like to connect them together to get 25W per speaker output. Will this work?

It is an Audiovox AMP-780. It has 6 outputs Left Front, Left Common, Left Rear, Right Front, Right Common and Right Rear.

Not sure what you mean my post in sub section?

put your mouse on car audio, top of page, and when the drop box appears scroll down and click subwoofers.

Thanks but this is not a subwoofer question. I'm trying to connect my amp to two 50W 3-ways.

I'm beginning to think this is not possible. Can someone confirm my fears?
