I'm looking for some good, not very expensive subwoofers.

Does anyone think a good combination for a good price would be to get these dual 12" Eclipse Subs with 500RMS: http://www.eclipse-web.com/boxes/sw61246104bxd.html

And to power it with an Audiobahn A8000T Amp

I can get this all for about $300(including shipping) online. Do you think this would be good for the money?

Is this good or can get something better for around the same price?

I'm willing to spend more if there is something a lot better and not too much more expensive.

Thanks.

i heard those at circuit city the other day and even though they were under powered they got decent loud and sounded good. some comparable subs would be kicker cvr's but i would still go with those. the only thing to think about is getting the a8000t or a8002t the a8000t will be under powering them about 100w and the a8002t will be over powering them by 300w. both amps are same price, i think i would get a8002t and turn sensitivity down and not turn bass boost up too high.

stick with the eclipse and don't buy the audiobahn subs. you will not get any good sound from them.

Why are they the same price if one is better?

Also I think I'm going to get this head unit:

Is it a good one?

i agree with adam. 2 channels provide for more flexibility when wiring your system. all depends on your specific setup. i have the A8000t powering a 10" kicker L7D4 (400w overpowered) and it sounds excellent
