I am self installing a JBL 200Pro amp to drive 2 10" Kicker Marine subs at 4 ohms. A APX480M Clarion 4 Chanel to drive 4 Infinity 602M's. My question is the wiring diagram shows the power lead going to the negative of the battery, the ground going to the chasis (on a boat?) and the turn on going to the stereo (the only part I agreed with). Is this correctr? Help....

RED goes to POSitive BATT
BLK goes to NEGative BATT, or Chasis metal of both.
Blue goes to HU, remote turn on...

Maybe the boat is positive ground? Ground doesn't mean negative. It just means zero potentiol lol. But B is right if it is negative ground.

Ok, so Power to Bat. Positive
Groung to Bat. Negative
Blue to Unit auto turn on.

With these amps, what size wire for Pos. and Neg. and Spkr.? The run is only about 6 feet to the Bats. from where the amps are mounted.
