One 13w7 or two 13w6?

Silver Member Username: Dpaw20FL USA Post Number: 347 Registered: Mar-05 | the w7 takes 1000rms and the w6's take 500 each. you can get the w7 for $700 shipped and the two w6's for $750 shipped (checked on a few sites and ebay and these were the cheapest i saw). i know the w6's would sounder better, but would they be as loud? how do the 13.5" subs compare to the 12's? also, what amp would you recomend for either setup? would the jl 1000/1 be worth the whole 700 bucks or are their amps just as good for a better price? |

Silver Member Username: Dpaw20FL USA Post Number: 349 Registered: Mar-05 | thanks for turning my thread into a piece of sh!t kids, how bout we grow up? anyway, yeah i didnt think about that josh but idk if i would ever need more bass than 1 13w7 or 2 w6's because either way thats going to be loud as hell. it would be nice to be able to tell people you have a w7, and a 13 at that.. but since the w6's would sound better and get louder idk. plus thats two subs and dont ask me why but it seems louder when i listen to music and when the bass plays i know 2 subs are goin at it instead of just one... lol that sounds stupid but hopefully you get what i mean. but with either the w7 or w6's, im not going to ask "what db's can i hit?" but basically will it flex the roof and move pennies and make your ears ring as well as move some hair? lol with my previous setups ive had that happen slightly but i dont want to invest around 2 grand and not achieve something worth the extra thousand compaired to some type-r's. |
