i read in the manual for mine that you should never do it but ive done it and i know people who have done it and nothing happend...

so nothing would happen,it would work normal....although you might be straining the sub cause the stiffness might b 2 much fur 1 coil to push or somtn ..i dunno

Really? I never knew that... I always figured to do that with my sub if I wanted it to play at 4 ohms (it's dual 4). Anyways, I've had it hooked up like that to my home stereo of about a year and it hasn't done anything.

Is it actually possible to connect 2 DVC subs to a 2 channel amp without the amp seeing the drop or an increase in OHMS? I dont think all amps would be able to stay stable on a 2 OHM load.

once the ohms on both the sub & each channel (&wrms too) are matching , shouldn't be a prob....
