Bronze Member Username: Jeffless600Post Number: 15 Registered: Feb-06 | I would say go with a JLW7 but u could get alot more spl by going a diffrent way....if i were you i would get 2 New Kicker 15" Solobaric L7's and box..should run u about..ehh about 750 dollars. A kicker KX850.2 amp..400 dollars..a nice alpine deck and wiring + installaton should get u to about $1500 spent. Then get some upgraded speakers in the doors n rear..some nice JL tr series...should get u to about 1750...then a jl E4300 amp to power them. should be around 2000 dollars give or take a lil bit.. people might say go with a JLW7 but with all that trunk space...get some nice 15's. |

I also wouldn't reccommend any square subwoofer from Kicker either. The CVX would work pretty well though. You could look at the Cerwin Vega Stroker-Pro for something better (but pricier) than Kicker for straight SPL. You wouldn't be disappointed. RE MT, AA hAvoc (when it's released), geeze, there's a lot really, DD stuff is good. |

Ya well sure those D3 won't win any SPL awards but hey they r 15" & would be SQL still , cannot beat that price which incl free s/h . Yeh there r MANY options of course budget limits it . Personally though i wouldn't immediately buy any brand new subs on the market now cause history has shown new subs MAY have initial problems , safer 2 wait a while & see , just my opinion ..... |
