I have heard really good stuff about the D9's so I am assuming they are pretty good. I think I might have heard them and if it was them they are really deep sounding and really clean.

"chauncey what would you get in the same price range that is louder"

Lots of subs, they would fall in that notorious 150-200 price range

SE's
CVR's
Type r's
Crystal Comps
Ed v.2's
CV-V-max's

I have one d6 running off a MTX801D in the box that diamond has specs for on their site and it really pounds. Go to http://www.diamondaudio.com/products/pdfs/Single%2012%20in%20Vented%2005.pdf
for that specialty box

Oh yeah, clean as hell...pretty loud too. it gets really deep, they recommend a subsonic filter which you definately do need.

the article in CA&E was about d3 subs. Do u think the D6's can compare to the W6v2's or no.. i mean i wish i could go and hear some but there is no where around my area that has a set of D6's or D9's or diamond audio equpiment at all.

dont think the d6's are on the w6's level.

yeah man the d6 is a solid sub. you may want to look into arc audio, oz, re. Really I would go with either of those companies listed except kicker, not my cup of tea. Also look into ascendant audio. the fact of the matter is, listen to as many subs as possible, but all those companies listed make excellent subs.

see the only problem is that going around and listen to subs in dam near impossible around my area... there are not to many places to listen to subs or any speakers at that.. especailly decently set up speakers.. But what do u mean the D6 is a solid sub?

meaning its a fairly good sub all around. stays clean, and has decent output, you could always go with a one sub setup though, say perhaps a d9.
