Wire them like this and find a mono amp that puts out ~ 1000watt RMS at 2 ohms

you will have a hard time finding a amp that is 1000 at 4 ohm.

Optidriven says Lanzar does its rated RMS but i havnt heard anyone else say this an ive also never seen any bench test sheets on um, but opti Swears by Lanzar, but he might only swear by them because its the type of amp he has ( he said hes seen bench test for them but he has never showed the bench test an ive never seen any myself so i cant recommend Lanzar )

this amp would be fine for two 4 ohms DVC type R's

or the hifonics BX1205D could be a good choice for a man on a tight budget or the one mitchell said which is the BX1500D ( its only about 20 bucks more then the 1205D an it will give you some head room )

any of those amps with the 4 ohm DVC Type R's would be a good choice

the BX1500D would be a good choice but not wiring it the way mitchell said becasue it doesnt really do 1500rms at 1 ohm like it claims, it only really does 1350 at 1 ohm so probably around 880 at 2 ohms so if you got the BX1500D you would want to have the 4 ohms DVC type R so you could wire them together for 1 ohm mono an get about 1350 out of the amp at 14.4 Volts
