dual 2 is what u need. Do u know if that amp is 1ohm or 2ohm stable? I thought all kickers are 2ohm, so you will need 2 dual 2ohms; wire them up to 4ohms, then put both in parallel for 2ohms.
Thats if the amp is 2ohm stable.

1ohm then you will get DUAL 4ohm subs.
Wire them down to 2Ohms each, then put 2 of them in parallel for 1ohm load. =D

no that is wrong

with dual 4 ohm subs you will get 1250 watts rms out of that amp AT LEAST

those subs can handle 800 watts

i mean you COULD get the dual 4 ohms and over power them and just be careful with the vol. knob

but if u want to be for sure safe

get the dual 2's wire them to two ohms then you will not blow them...and youll have a good amp if you ever get new subs

800rms total?
meaning 400rms a peice.
he could push 2 400rms subs with 1 1000rms amp. It will give them about 500rms a peice.

that amp does not put that out rms, the birth cetificates are max power achieved for a very short period of time, ususally right before it blows. My friend is a manager at our local shop, he has toured Kickers facility and saw how they got max power on the Birth certificates.

ty thats not 100% true, kicker use max rms rating, so that amp will put out more than 1200watts. i'd guess that amp does anywhere between 1250-1350watts.

I am just stating what I was told, the number on the birth sheet is the last number they had before the amp blew.
