what do we feel about the kappa perfect ten. I am looking for a SVC sub that will give me the best perfomance. I will only be running like 300 watts to it. I want SQ and tightness, volume is third priority.
thanks

no no no. Go with the kappa perfect. It is an SQ sub. That will give you what you want.

I would use a Elemental Design Kv.2 sub. Better SQ than the Perfect.

most people at stores seem to think that the perfect 10 needs more power than i can supply it.
The MTX thunder 5500 10 or 12 inch sub is what is being recommended.
what do we think of those?

MTX's need just as much power and they don't have the SQ the perfect needs. Go Infinity over MTX anyday.

Is there any subs that have a frequency response as low as the infinity(18hz). If there is, are they any where near the price range?

Being rated at 18Hz is one of the lowest I have seen for a everyday sub. To be honest though, you can't hear anything under 20 anyway, and they probably are stretching that statement just a tad. The assassins would be an excellent choice. Same with the RE re's.
