Hi, if I had a 70 amp alternator with about 1400 Wattr rms should my lighs dim? If, so would upgrading the big three stop the dimming?.....Cause i did the big three but it still dims?.....(I know i'm prolly need a bigger alt in the future)..Thanks

My lights dim with only 500wrms on a 75A alt.

The only way to stop the dim is with a High Output Alternator, Also i doubt u have 1400 rms running on 70 amps, every time the bass would hit ur car would cut off,j/k, but thats not possible unless u never ever ever turn on the hu and listen to any music

also its not the watts that matters, its the amps the amplifier draws. but i doubt theres an amp that puts out 1400 rms and desent dim ya lights lol

i meant total with 1000 with MB Quart RAA1000 for subs and like 300 something for my speakers Kenwood8402
