I plan on running a JL 500/1 to power some sub(s) but i'm not sure if i should run 2 JL 8w7's or a single 10w7. I mostly listen to rock but occasionally i need a dose of 2pac or some good Techno. I know that with these smaller subs the tightness will be there, but will there be much of a difference in the reproduction of the lower frequencies between the two. I kind of had my sights set on the 8's. Mostly i'm looking for SQ but i would like some descent SPL there if I want it. That said what would be the ideal enclosure, sealed or vented. This will be going in an 04 grand prix.

Anyone that has or is currently running an application similar to this please leave your input.
Thanks

Cost isn't really an issue.

well i have not heard a 10w7 but from what i read here they perform/sound loud & clean like 2 other 10" subs so i would choose that over 2 8" , besides i personally don't like the idea of having any sub less than a 10" but thats just .02cents ....
