is there a such thing as a tone so low it will cook your subs?

not that I know of. you can play something like a 5 hertz tone at full vloume if it is long enough that may damage the sub.

if the tone is under what the sub can proform then your sub will just miss the note like a 10in can only hit like 30 hz and a 12 can hit like 22hz a 18in kicker can hit like 13hz
