Im running a ppi a600.2 for my component set up front and as you know it doesnt have crossovers so im using my HU to set the HPF to 12db @ 100hz

Now for my subwoofer amp im using a crossfire vr1000d and i have the crossover set at 60-80hz lpf on the amp at 12db which is what the amp offers

I also have my HU lpf set to 18db @ 80hz

Am i setting this up right with the crossfire amp or should i just use the HU or AMP or BOTH ?

copy and paste it, and remove the space between the 2 and the 6 at the end. Don't know where that came from.

be careful running two crossovers (amp and HU) since that can make the slopes cumulative.

I'd stary with the HPF at 100 or 80Hz, 12dB, and the subs at 60 or 80Hz and a steeper slope like 18 or 24dB.
then play with it from there and see what sounds best to your ears.

I guess in this case i will have to use my HU crossovers since my sub amp only has a 12db slope. My Premier 860 offers up to 18db slope for my lpf
