heyyyyy one of my friends bought a infinity 1230w sub off ebay over the summer ish off ebay. soooo today we hooked it up to my amp and gave it 425 Wrms at 4 ohms.. i know it kinda a lot but i turned the gain down and had a really low volume on. annnnd nothing happenedafter i turned everyting on lol sooo i turned the vol up a tad and nothing happened again, so i put a lil pressure on the cone and it started workin! then i looked inside the cone part ish and saw what looked to be like two little brown burn marks in back of the tinsel leads... whats up wit it lol
that happens to my dad's work truck door speakers. when you push it in you can hear the music. so we just put some tissue between the the surround and the door panel. the bass makes the tissue vibrate though. lol
