I was wonderin how you go about hooking up DVC sub to one channel of an amp? should I parallel it, or can i just split the power from one channel to both coils? and that would raise the impedance on the amp right? Is there any difference in 2ohm and 4ohm as far as sound qualiy goes?

sound quality differences are negligible.

I wouldn't worry about the sound quality difference between 2 and 4 ohm for a sub. Usually it's more about power and the sub and amp working together.
Example I wire a 2 ohm DVC in parallel to show a 1 ohm load and get 1100watts from my amp. In series, it would only get 300.
A 4 ohm DVC in parallel would show a 2 ohm load and get 600W.
