rockford T1001bd can be put to .5ohm. several of my freinds have done it to them for long periods of time and nothing has ever gone wrong. at .5 ohm it should put out close to 2000rms.
I was talking to one of my friends who owns a car audio shop and he said that alot of brands are afraid to say there amps work at .5ohm because some people would hook them up at .25 ohm instead. probably complete BS but it does make since.

a 1500hct audiobahn, high current 4000 watts rms at .5 ohm. i have one thats been wired at .5 ohm for about three months now never had a prob.
