I'm debating on whether or not I should buy a pair of Alpine Type X's or go with one Alpine Type X and a pair of Type R's.

Also I figured powering they two type X's with 2 MRD-M1005 would that be sufficient for either package I go with?

mixing subs a good idea cause it results in cancellation issues , it can be done though but it way complicated

u better do 2 Xs alone

since u seem 2 have the space why not do 2 15s (x only comes in 12" though).......

if you have the space then go with 4 type rs. that sh!t will get real loud in there if you power them nicely.

I have a Chrysler 300 with 15.6 cubic foot so I doubt I could fit 4 type rs. Thanks Rovin with the cancellation issues. What would you recomend in 15s?

15.6 is enough for 4 15" type r's lol but then again that would be rediculous.. all depends what u want dude you will gain some SQ with the type x's but you will want to use them in sealed boxes so the r's even though they have less power handling have the chance to get louder than the x's will. because they can go in ported boxes
