is it some way possible that a 1200w rms amp from one brand be more powerful than a another brands 1200w rms even if both brands are ces-2006 certified?

The good companies, underate their amps...

Because a amp say 1200, dont believe it!
it may only do 1000rms!
Some amps say 1200 and will do 1400 rms!

Some may put out full power at a lower voltage say 11volts.
Some may need 15volts to even get close to full power!

So it all depends on the quality of the amplifier!
So yes Manufacture matters...

If it's CES rated, it's suppose to give you the rated power at given volts.
Actual amount of power will vary depending on the power supply. Unregulated ps for example will give more power at higher volts.
