My buddy is selling a mtx thunder 6500D. I was thinking of buying it off him and hooking up one of my 12l7's to it. Will this make it pound pretty hard?
not the BEST match up b/c the MTX makes the most power at 2 ohms and w7's are 3, BUT it should still give you ~500w which should be plenty get it sounding real nice.
He said L7. If you have the dual 4 ohm version then you will get the most out of your amp. That speaker is 750 watt rms. So shoot for that with an amp.
