Anonymous | well i tried registering a few times, but i cant seem to get the forum to send me that activation code lol, so... im just gona post as a anon. alright, well im planning to get 2 alpine type Rs and a hifonics bx1500d amp, thinking of making the box myself since im not to keen on spending few hundred bucks on something i could make for considerably less, only problem is im thinking of making it ported but cant figure out the math for the box found this site: http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp has all the calculators for the sealed box's but if im making a ported.. how big should the port be? what should the port be made of (just a hole, pvc, fancy stuff etc..) and im guessing since its a dual sub box, just make the dimensions twice as wide and put a wall in the center between the two? -Vladimer |
