im buying subs and i want to know if i should get 2 alpine type r's or should i get one type x. whick will produce more bass?

I'm not sure... we dont generally see a lot of talk about Type Rs or Xs on this forum. somebody will know though

from what I hear installs being equal the type x will win in spl

ok so what would you do? go with like one x or 2 r's. i just want a sub that wu=ill make a lot of bass. i=im new at this and i had two p2 and they blew. i would like subs louder than those and in 250 dollar price range. thanks guys

go with the type r's. the x's will win in SPL one on one, but if you go with two R's they will be louder

type Xs are SQ subs. type Rs are SQL subs. The only way the type X would win with SPL is if it had more power than the type R.
