As of right now I have two 12" Audiobahn Eternals and one 1000 watt Memphis amp in my 98 Dodge Ram 1500 Extended Cab. I really want a loud SPL system but also maintain good sound quality also. I have heard all types of rumors about JL W7 13.5 inches, MTX L7, and other subs. I want a completely new system. I need some advice on what to get to be HEARD and also hear the words. Please Help!
is that $800 for just subs and amps or for mids and highs and an amp for them, deck...ect...
13W7's are around $600 on ebay, $1000 from an authorized dealer MTX makes the 9500 series, they are $300-$400 depending on size from ebay, don't know about from an authorized dealer and kicker L7's are around $200 - $400 on ebay, depending on size, and are around $400-$600 from an authorized dealer.
all will require 1000 watts or so per sub and need rather large enclosures. also, the JL is a dual 1.5 ohm sub, so its kind hard to find an amp to match it other the JL.
