How should I wire this system?

I want to run them off of a Rockford P8002 Amplifier, with a peak power of 2400 Watts. How should I wire these? I tried it at an 8 Ohm load, and it barely puts out anything. Please let me know...Jimmy

Post Number: 4293 Registered: Jul-05	Posted on Friday, December 30, 2005 - 15:42 GMT ur amp does 200 W x 2 @ 4 Ohms RMS http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=14325 so the most u can do is wire each sub like this into each channel even if u bridge the 2 chan ur sub will only be getting like 200wrms if u want 2 keep that amp return ur subs for the 4ohms dvc version or bets if u do the better thing hwich is getting a mono amp .....

Post Number: 4294 Registered: Jul-05	Posted on Friday, December 30, 2005 - 15:57 GMT those subs r 500wrms each = 1000wrms u r underpowering it by less than 1/2 get a good mono that does 1000/1200wrms @ 2ohms & the difference u will hear will be like night/day ... DO TAKE 2 MINUTES TO REGISTER HERE .........
