ok heres my question. i've made up my mind about gettin 2 cvr15s because im gettin them at a very cheap price. kicker recommends putting each in a 1.8-5.2 cubic ft. enclosure. my question is what will give me the hardest pounding bass and can hit the lows well. they're going in the back of a 87 chevy caprice if that will help u guys any. much help is appreciated.

if all you want to do is hit the lows then you should get just one cvr15 and make the sealed enclosure big like at 3cu.ft. or more or as much space as you want to sacrifice.

if you get both the internal volume for each subwoofer will be smaller meaning you wont be able to hit those low notes.but it will probably have more spl.

pelona when u say spl u mean harder hitting bass correct. i really want to do both know what i mean. i want my system to hit really hard but when a low note drops in i would want to pick it up ya know. my trunk is pretty big so do u think i could make like each chamber like 2.5cu.ft.

yes i mean harder hitting bass but the single 15 will hit the low notes harder.

you should stay with the 2.5 cu.ft. per subwoofer.thatll be loud enough and itll be low enough because they are 15s.

i already got my pioneer stereo.ima install it tomorrow at the car audio shop because its not working when i tried to connect it.

im also into low frequency bass so ima wait until ascendant audio comes out with there new line of subs.i dont know if youve heard of them but their Avalanch was the best low frequency sub ever.so i suppose their new line should come up with something equal or better than the avalanches lowness.

i think ill go with a big sealed box to bring out the lows.
