ive posted teh same thing atleast 20 times and am still not getting accurate help. i have 2 Alpine Type X's and each are 1000 watts rms 4 ohm DVC. i either want 2 1000 watt amps or one 2000 watt amp i am looking for the absolute best combo.i kno my best choice for 2 1000 watt amps would be teh JLs but im looking for other suggestions for THE BEST 2000 watt amp, or other good 1000 watt amps. are teh Alpine MRD-d1000 any good each are 1000 watts but i want to wire my system to a 1 ohm load unless someoen tells me theres a way to wire 1 speaker to 1 amp and have it run at 2 ohms I NEED HELP FAST I HAVE SPEAKERS BUT NO AMP SO THAT MEANS NO BANG BANG FOR EM UNTILL I GET SOME AMPS!!!!! I HOPE YOU ALL KNOW THIS SUCKS JUST LOOKING AT THEM EVERY DAY!!and not Orions i heard they suck now they sold tehre company name tehre not as good as tehy used to be a while ago
there is no possible way 2 wire (2) 4ohms dvc subs into 1ohm on a MONO amp
its possible 2 wire 2ohms/channel on a 2 channel amp but believe me , any 2 channel amp that genuinely puts out 1000wrms @ 2ohms/channel is gonna be so fricking expensive .
orion amps do not suck - who told u that ? - may not be great as there old stuff but they def DO NOT SUCK !
u can also check out Mmats D3000.1 = $1000 ! or get 2) JBL 1200.1 amps or RF T20001bd amp . or 2) Diamond D61000.1
IMO - i would do 2) JL 1000/1 - ask Chad Lee thats whats he's doing now ............
just get one amp, it will be cleaner because all amps are at least a little different. take for instance kicker, they all come with birth sheets with a range of power for the same model. (usually above rated thou)
