Does it change anything? Can I overlook them, and simply wire it like normal? I need 1ohm out of 2 4ohm subs, but it's not in the manual.
Please help, guys.

I'm confused.

what subs are those...model number if they are the dual 2ohm speakers then no, you can not wire them down to 1 ohm, and no, best to hook up all voice coils. You need dual 4 ohms speakers to load it down to 1ohm.

1 (4) ohms sub can be wired @ 2 or 8
2 (4) ohms subs can be wired @ 1 or 4

Thats what i thought, but i mean ive wired this all up, and it still doesnt work. Got the amp powered, i used 12 guage wire from amp to speaker box. Then the inside box it goes from that connection to the sub. The sub has the 4 connections 2 positive and 2 negative. When i turn on the car the amp powers up and then the sub doesnt put anything out. I checked it with a test light...and all connections seem to be good. Got any ideas?

unhook speaker from amp, use multimeter and check output of amp, I believe using AC voltage, can not remember, but you should have out put, and then check rca, maybe not getting single.
