This amp to power 2 12" se's ??????

alright the rms on the se's is 600 rms a piece and i am gonna get this amp that does 1500x 1 @ 1 ohm so about 750 a piece rms to each so will it be fine you think? http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/2885

that amp puts out about 1050 rms so it would be 525 rms per sub. It should work ok if ur tight on cash

that one pushes about 1120 rms, hifoninc's, put out about 70% of there rated power

dang so what amp should i get to power them at about 750 rms i want an hifonics ampo
i think im gonna go with just the 1500 rms but thanks chaunsy ur a nice guy would 2 se's with 525 rms each be pretty loud

i want to stick with hifonics what hifonics amp from ikesound do you think is hould go with then to get at least around the 600-700 rms to each sub range??

are u 100% sure they only produse 70% caz i am only 16 and dont have money if this amp hurts the subs at all??

well its says 1800 rms so 70% of that is 1260. 1260/2= 630 rms into each sub so it would work perfect

im 95% sure it puts out and even if it puts 80% of its rated power it still will not be enough to kill ur subs. one way 2 test it

uh well ur the first person that said there 70% soi am gonna have to look even longercaz i dont waNT TO spend more then 250 for an amp this is john by the way

I don't think there's enough evidence out there to say they only do 70% of rated power. There was one bench test posted way back on a 1500D that only did ~1100w, but that's not to say the next one off the line didn't do a lot more.

Over-rated, maybe, but 70%? I think that's a little harsh.

Also - the models ending in 05 are supposed to be more accurately rated than the 00's.

Plus - as Chauncey said - whether you're getting 500w or 750w - that's a load of power and with a good enclosure your subs are going to slam just fine.
