He wants a pretty loud/good sounding system, and this is what he wants.. and he needs some other help on deciding what to get. He'd also like to go through online stores, not ebay. Suggestions please!! Subs *3 dual-2 ohm Alpine 12" Type R's subs wired in series,1.33 ohm resistance, correct? He's pretty set on the type R's cuz of their price and performance, I found them for i think $145 shipped at onlinecarstereo.com is there a cheaper/reliable place? Box *sealed, not sure the volume yet... suggestions? Amp for subs * any suggestions?? cuz its a weird ohm load *price can be 400-600 max ish Speakers *suggestions, I was thinking a set of infinity perfects 5.1 for the front, and rear speakers any suggestions? I thought for real fill you dont really need a 2-way set, am I correct? Speaker amp *suggestions, can spend 275-375 max Head unit * suggestions, he wants a flip/touch screen, can spend prolly 1200 max ish Thanks |

Would be exactly the same 1500wrms & run it off a 1500wrms @ 1ohm amp like PPI dcx1500.1 Could also do 2 type X but would be more $ 4 subs/amp Nice Inf comp choice - this amp would run them well http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=15324 HU - well whichever from Pioneer/Alpine/Kenwood Excelon has the features u want . But whats the difference in sound with the accordian rubber surrounding the cone vs the normal rubber surronding the cone? Ill talk to him about that, but for rear door speakers, do you think he go with another set of 5.1 perfects? |

Alot of ppl here would say u don't need em - but i beg to differ ! cause only 2day in my ride i installed some Inf Ref 6.5" comp (I put the same comps in my front & rear doors) & i can hear it pretty well & it does boosts up overall highs/mids & 2 me the sound is just better .... so thats ur call , if u decide 2 do that then u will need a 100wrms @ 4ohms x4 chan amp .......... |
